The historic atmosphere of the Mercersburg Inn caught my attention right away. The beautiful architecture and antique décor created a charming setting. I loved the large porch where I could relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making me feel welcomed. However, the room I had did not live up to the expectations set by the website. I found some stains in the bathroom, and the outdated AC unit was quite noisy. Housekeeping only provided one roll of toilet paper and one set of towels, which felt insufficient for the stay. The dining experience was nice but could benefit from more options, especially something simple like scrambled eggs for breakfast. The game room was a fun hangout, but it was pretty cold in there and could use better heating. All in all, the inn has great potential but needs a bit of maintenance and attention to detail to meet its beautiful appearance.

Charming, Charming, Charming
The vintage decor is a feast for the eyes I loved my comfy room, especially soaking in the luxurious jacuzzi that offered a much-needed relaxation after a day of exploring. The outdoor sun terrace and garden overlooked lush greenery, creating the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or evening chats.

Ideal spot for a quiet retreat
The moment we arrived, the service was excellent and the food was out of this world. I loved having breakfast in the sun porch, soaking in the sun while enjoying a fantastic meal with my family.
It wasn't inexpensive, but I suppose the experience was acceptable.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the Prime Outlets in Hagerstown, snagging great deals at COACH Factory and Kate Spade. The historic mansion was stunning, offering a peaceful atmosphere and a perfect spot to unwind after our adventures. Don't miss the French cooking classes. they were entertaining and delicious!
One downside was the noise from traffic at night near our room, which occasionally interrupted our sleep.
